Amy Faherty joined St. Peter Catholic School in 2013 as the athletic director, Rosetta Stone teacher and over the years held the position of technology support and computer skills teacher for the 6th and 7th grade students. Amy is excited to return this year as a 1st grade assistant after taking a year off to focus on her son's recruitment process. She was born and raised in Baton Rouge. She earned a Bachelors of Education with emphasis in sports management from Louisiana State University. After completing her undergraduate degree she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to attend graduate school at UNC - Greensboro. Before coming to St. Peter Catholic School, Amy worked for Christ the King Catholic School in Daphne, Alabama as the athletic director. Amy has been married to Michael for 24 years and has one son Trey who will be a freshman in college this year. Amy is excited to return and continue her passion of helping mold our youth in their Catholic faith.
