Mr. Goss joined St. Peter Catholic School in 2008, and over that time has served as Religion Teacher (4th, 5th, and 7th grade), Coordinator of Religion Education, and most recently as Dean of Students and Campus Ministry. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio, and his Master’s degree in Theology from Our Lady of Holy Cross College in New Orleans. Mr. Goss taught Religion and Social Studies (6th – 8th)at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Kenner, Louisiana (2006-2008), before coming to St. Peter. He has served asJunior High and High School Youth Minister at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in McComb, Mississippi (2003-2006), and Middle School and Junior High Youth Minister at St. Peter Catholic Church (2008-2013). Mr. Goss earned his Youth Ministry Certification from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2012, and he embraces the philosophies of the St. John Bosco Preventative System, Virtue-Based Restorative Discipline, and Positive Behavior Support in his work as Dean of Students. The catalyst which sparked his love for sharing Christ with young people took place while serving on the National Evangelization Team (1999-2000).
Mr. Goss has been married to his wife, Mary, for 18 years. They have four children: Clare, Annie, Peter, and Lucy. Mr. Goss is passionate about challenging young Catholics to love Christ and embrace the life of the Church.
