Courtney Newton

Mrs. Courtney Newton is joining St. Peter as the 1st - 3rd Grade Religion assistant. She was born and raised in Opelousas, LA where she graduated from Opelousas Catholic High School in 2001. She attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 2005. Courtney started her career in mortgage banking and later worked for Chevron North America as a Financial Analyst in Houston and New Orleans for 6 years. For the past 12 years she has stayed home with her 4 children, ages 13, 11, 8, and 4.
