Mrs. Kim Wright is very excited about being a faculty member at St. Peter School and looks forward to teaching 6th and 7th grade Honors ELA. She believes it is a privilege to share her love of Christ and the English language with her students and to accompany them on the adventures found between the covers of excellent books!
Mrs. Wright and her husband, Mark, have been married for 23 years and have five children, ranging in age from 20 to 6. She is a native of New Orleans and a graduate of Mount Carmel Academy. She earned an undergraduate degree in political science with a minor in English from Louisiana State University, where she also graduated from law school. After practicing law and working in non-profit development, she was finally able to realize her dream of becoming an English teacher in 2006. In 2010, she began homeschooling her children and serving St. Peter Parish as Confirmation Coordinator. After 8 years in that role, she became a teacher and administrator at the Holy Family Hybrid Homeschool, teaching grammar, composition, and literature.
