Samantha Anderson

Samantha Anderson joined St. Peter Catholic School in 2020 as a virtual learning teacher. She was born in Metairie and attended Mt. Carmel Academy in New Orleans.  She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where she met her husband, Terry.  

Before coming to St. Peter Catholic School, Samantha taught second, third, and sixth grades for Jefferson Parish Public Schools and St. Tammany Parish Public Schools for thirty-two years until her retirement.  She realized she wasn’t quite ready to give up teaching, however, and happily found a new home at St. Peter as a part-time third grade interventionist and enrichment teacher.  
Samantha and her husband have two children and one grandchild.
