Suzanne Schaefer

Suzanne Schaefer joined St. Peter Catholic School in 2001 as a fourth grade reading and social studies teacher. She now teaches fourth grade ELA. She was born in Lake Charles, LA and raised in Terrytown, LA. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. Suzanne Schaefer is married and has two daughters and two grandchildren. She loves teaching because she plays an integral part in shaping the young minds of our future. During Mrs. Schaefer’s years of teaching at St. Peter, she has held key roles on both the Leadership Team and Sunshine Committee. She has also been a mentor teacher to new faculty members. Working in a Catholic School is such a rewarding experience because it gives her the ability to share faith, hope, and love in all areas of teaching the students.
